Surreal South-African Artist, André Austin, has been drawing since a very young age, but has undergone no formal fine art training. Austin has always been fascinated with the masters of surrealism and this reflects in his work. Some of his favorite subjects include rusted and old machinery and distressed enamel crockery.
Austin has taken part in numerous group exhibitions and has presented three successful solo exhibitions. He has participated in various art competitions, including Ad Artem Society Prize which he has won, the Art Lovers 1932 annual art competition, where he has been a finalist for three years.
